It will detect you approaching with it’s 360 degree PIR sensor. Lighting up the porch before you even get there.
It is also ideal where ever else you need a motion sensitive light, without the expense of mains installation.
DESCRIPTION:
The Solar PIR Porch Light can be mounted outside where it will illuminate up for 30 seconds as soon as its PIR sensor detects motion.
Alternatively it can be installed inside to light up a variety of outbuildings, including garages, workshops, sheds, shelters, tents, stables and porches.

Q Is the whole of the Solar PIR porch lights waterproof?
A The Porch Light is waterproof but no more than that, ideally it wants to mounted in a porch or shed or somewhere undercover- the panel is fine anywhere of course.
Q Can the 30 second lighting up be extended
A You can’t adjust the lighting time, if this is what you need use the EVO56
Q PIR is 2-6.5m, can this be set to less than 6.5m?
A No you can’t adjust this on the Porch Light. If you want an adjustable PIR your best bet again will be the EVO56 as it has 3 PIR adjustment settings.
Q Cab the Porch Light be ceiling mounted
A Yes it can, it comes with an easy to install clip that allows you to mount it to the ceiling.
Q Where are the batteries housed in the Porch Light?
A The batteries are housed in the Solar Porch Light unit.
